Special Sessions

Emerging Tech Investment Forum

     This session will provide a unique opportunity for start-up companies to present their products, services, and business models to an audience of venture capitalists and private investors. If you wish to present your company, please submit your executive summary as outlined below.

If you wish to organize a session on one of the aforementioned topics or add a topic to the list, please submit an abstract no longer than 5 pages, outlining the papers to be presented at this session if possible by May 31, 2008.

Instructions

Please submit your abstract electronically by either method:

Uploading your abstract (preferred)

1. Please create a user account: https://www.ianano.org/mms/form1.php

2. Go to http://www.ianano.org and login using your created Username and sword.

3. Click on the Upload Papers Icon.

4. Select the desired conference name (ie. International Congress of Nano-Bio & Clean Tech 2008)

5. Select paper type (Abstract), fill in the fields and upload your abstract in a MS Word file (.doc file) and in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf)

If you are using Microsoft Office 2007 and above, Microsoft offers a free PDF converter

Alternatively, you can use the free online service at http://www.pdfonline.com/

6.  You may re-submit your paper as many times as you like until the deadline date (June 30, 2008) using the same method as outlined above.

Emailing your abstract

1.       Please email your abstract in MS Word file (.doc file) and in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf) to icnt2008abstracts@ianano.org

2.       Complete and submit the online form: http://www.nanotechcongress.com/speaking.htm

Deadline for Abstract Submission: June 30, 2008.

The papers will be reviewed by our Scientific Program Committee and acceptance notices will be sent via email within 4-6 weeks. Late submissions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

1.  Abstracts should not exceed 500 words.

2.  Please follow the format as outlined in the following abstract template (.doc)

If you require an official invitation letter for VISA purposes, please complete the following online form. Please note, in addition to completing the online form, we must receive a scanned copy of your passport to verify your information. These can be faxed to 408-280-6255 or emailed to info@ianano.org.
